Solution Centre
RCCG Solution Centre is a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God that started with 9 members (5 of which were children) in October of 2009 at a rented venue/hall (lokal) – Gästabudet, Hartwickska Huset – on Sankt Paulsgatan 39C in Mariatorget, Södermalm Stockholm. On the onset, only Sunday services were being held due to constraints with the availability of the facility on other days of the week.
After a couple of months and a long search for an affordable befitting venue in the city centre, the Parish relocated to Stefanskolan in April 2010 , when we were divinely connected with the proprietor of the school and discovered that we shared a common vision of not only reaching out but also being a blessing to the people in Stockholm (and Sweden at large) through the good news of the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth. This move enabled Solution Centre to hold various weekly and monthly meetings such as Faith Clinic (weekly prayer meeting), the monthly Good women fellowship meetings and Breakthrough Hour of Solutions (monthly night vigil / kesha), the annual famous Couples’ Forum in December (Restoring the Original Smile), “Barbeque-with-Jesus” outreach in the summer, “Lets-go-A-Fishing” evangelism in April and the Christmas Dinner not to mention the weekly evangelism on mondays.
RCCG Solution Centre also runs an annual Conference entitled “From Whence Cometh My Help” besides a host of other programs/seminars & themes such as evangelism through drama, the Christian & finances, the Gospel through Music, outreach to the muslim world, etc in cooperation with other partners and or experts in these fields.
Among its retinue of activities, Solution Centre has informally partnered with other organisations and is deeply engaged in projects that support and empower the youth, women, children & people in vulnerable conditions/situations in other parts of the world through frequent donations clothes and funds to an orphanage and handicap centre in Burundi, women groups in Ethiopia, a children home/orphanage & baby rescue centre in Kenya; just to mention a few.
From RCCG Solution Centre, outreach efforts to other parts of Sweden lately resulted in the birth of a daughter parish, RCCG Life Centre in Västerås; a vibrant and fast growing church that is impacting people in that city and its environs. This is of course besides Solution Centre’s oversight supervisory role over a number of RCCG parishes within Stockholm and the nearby cities of Uppsala, Borlänge, Gävle and Norrköping.
